We all saw the emotional side of Kartik Aaryan when he shared the stage with his parents on receiving the Best Actor award in comic role for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in Mumbai recently.
Most of us already know about his acting skills thanks to his Bollywood films, but not many of us are aware that Kartik couldn’t fulfil one wish of his parents, i.e. to become a doctor. However, his little sister has now proven that their proud parents have not one but three reasons to celebrate (Kartik’s win being one of them).
The Luka Chuppi actor, who shares a close bond with his younger sister, took to Instagram to post a special message for her with a few pictures.
In the post, he wished his sister on her birthday and also congratulated her for graduating from a medical school. Kartik also mentioned that he couldn’t become a doctor, saying, ”Mai na sahi, tum toh Doctor bani.”
The 28-year-old actor wrote, ”Wish you a very Happy Birthday Doctor Kittu and its a double celebration for us in the family as you hold your MBBS degree today Mummy-Papa ka sapna poora hua… main na sahi, tum toh Doctor bani @dr.kiki.”
”So so proud of you and sorry my little sister for not being able to be with you on your special day… Love you a lot,” the proud brother added in his post.
Kartik Aaryan’s sister passed her medical exams on her last birthday and after exactly one year, she has received her degree.
He wrote, ”So happy, Just couldnt stop myself from sharing this with you guys. Just found out my little sister passed her medical exams!!! Plus it’s her bday today. HAPPY BDAY DR KITTU Mummy, Papa and I are so sooooo proud of you love you lots.”
Kartik Aaryan keeps on showering big-brother love for his MBBS sister through pictures on his Instagram.
Kartik, who made his parents proud at an award show, took to Instagram and posted the priceless moment which featured his mom with him.
Talking about his own struggle on Koffee With Karan earlier this year, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor revealed how entering Bollywood was not easy for him. The actor said that he never really focused on studies because of his passion for acting.
On Season 6, Karan Johar, the show host spilled the beans that Kartik got into a university in Bombay and later left it because of attendance issues as he was auditioning for his first break in Bollywood at the same time.
On the work front, Kartik will be seen in the upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh with debutante Ananya Panday and Sonchiriya actress Bhumi Pednekar.
Kartik Aaryan has worked in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Akashvaani, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Guest in London and the latest Luka Chuppi, that released earlier this year.
