Here we go!
MS Dhoni: “We’ll bowl first. If you see the wickets have been good over here. It’s difficult to contain the batsmen here, hence we need the opposition to put runs. We have had a few niggles and concerns but not worried about that. Hoping Bravo comes back as soon as possible as he gives a balance to our side. Without him being there, we need to find the right balance. I think we are a good space. We are playing with the same squad.”
Dinesh Karthik: “We need to bat well. It’s important to hit the right areas when we bowl. It’s been a flat wicket and it’s difficult to take wickets if the batsmen get going. Lynn and Narine are back and Gurney is back too. Looking forward to this game.”

2:55 pm A very warm good evening from India, and the Sunday double-header in the
Indian Premier League is scheduled to begin shortly, where first Kolkata Knight Riders will host Chennai Super Kings and then later in the evening, visitors Delhi Capitals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In the first match at the Eden Gardens, KKR will look to end their two-match losing run but have a tough task at hand against high-flying table-toppers CSK.
Here’s the match preview:
‘Over to Kolkata after every controversy’. That has been the norm so far in IPL-12. The Kings XI Punjab came down to play Kolkata Knight Riders here after their skipper R Ashwin controversially ran out Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Butler in their previous match.
On Sunday, much talk at the Eden Gardens will centre around Chennai Super Kings’ skipper MS Dhoni, who stormed onto the playing arena at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur to protest against the umpires’ refusal to call a no-ball on a waist-high full-toss from Rajasthan Royals’ Ben Stokes on Thursday.
The match, however, is more important for the hosts, who, after making a good start in the tournament, have slipped a bit after losing their last two matches. KKR captain Dinesh Karthik will be keen to effect a turnaround.
The worrying news from the KKR camp is that they have a few players down with injury and illness. An indisposed Chris Lyn missed Friday’s match against Delhi Capitals. So did Sunil Narine with a sore hamstring.
Even Andre Russell, who is in roaring form with the bat, was seen struggling with his fitness while batting on Friday. Although skipper Karthik too is reportedly down with flu.
KKR’s biggest problem is that they do not have adequate replacements on the bench. With new-recruit Joe Denley and Carlos Brathwaite, both enduring a miserable outing in their maiden outing for KKR on Friday, coach Jacques Kallis has his hands full.
CSK, on the other hand, have hardly missed the injured Dwayne Bravo’s versatility. His replacement Mitchell Santner showed displayed nerves of steel by hitting a last-ball six to seal victory against Rajasthan Royals in their last match.
KKR’s problems have been compounded by the fact that the Eden track has not suited their front-line spinners — Narine, Piyush Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav — who can be a handful of helpful tracks.
